The leaders of Mercy Baptist Church have made it a point to nurture and shepherd all the members of the church through many ministries. These include to children, youth, and adults. The church glorifies the lord through activities such as music and sports. Along the different ministries within the body, the church also supports many missionaries throughout the United States and around the world.

Simply said there is somewhere for everyone in the church to get involved. It is the belief of the church that service and involvement on the part of everyone is important for personal growth and essential for growth on a whole. As Mercy Baptist continues to serve the Lord at the church may we also see with a new vision the opportunity the Lord has given to share the word with the city of Weirton and surrounding communities.

We owe a debt of gratitude for the caring souls that saw a need to begin Mercy Baptist Church in this hungry community. May it be our prayer that we might look to their example as we let our light shine in a dark world. May we live with that same missionary spirit and remember that the foundation of heritage and future is a passion for God and a compassion for people.
